#ELHChallenge 239: Online Tennis Training and Instruction with E-Learning

Another week, another E-learning Heroes Challenge entry: This week is all about Tennis?

Not so strange when you remember Wimbledon is on for the next "fortnight". The formal title is “The Championships, Wimbledon” and it is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877. Head on over to Wikipedia to find out why 'Strawberries and Cream' is the snack of the Grand Slam Tournament.

Now for those of us who don’t know that much about tennis, Wimbledon might seem like a mere pop culture artifact. I definitely fall into this category. It took me a second to think of what I could do for this week’s challenge.

Then I remembered one night in 2008. My friend Ted called me over to his house at 9pm because all his roommates were gone and he really wanted to play his new gaming console - something called a Nintendo Wii. What ensued was 48 hours straight of Wii tennis, bowling, and baseball. It was a weekend to remember.

So, in honor of that - take a look at my e-learning love note to Wii Tennis.
